About Okuda Renpoudo

To convey traditions and
beautiful Art works

The founder, Okuda Chujiro established OKUDA RENPOUDO in Shijo Tominokoji, Kyoto.
Then, in the early Showa Era, OKUDA RENPOUDO was moved to Gion.
We reorganized a firm into a company.
At first, OKUDA RENPOUDO mainly dealt with antiques such as lacquer work and calligraphy antiques.
Gradually, we started to handle traditional tea utensils, sencha utensils, and kaiseki tableware such as Mukoduke (dished) and Makie and lacquerware bowls.
Then, We are also now dealing with ceramics such as old Chinese and old Imari ware, folk arts such as Kanjiro Kawai, and modern crafts such as Living National Treasure.
We join the membership of Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Kanazawa Art Club.
