It is a rounded rectangle with a landscape on the body. The lid is openworked in the shape of a bird. On the back of the lid of the box, there is a label "安藤七寶店 J・ANDO Cloissone Ware". The wooden base is attached.

Ando Cloisonne Ware was founded in Nagoya in the Meiji era (1868-1912), and won many awards both in Japan and abroad, including the World Exposition, and was appointed by the Imperial Household Ministry. Cloisonne enamel ware is a technique of baking a glassy glaze over a copper or silver base to produce a pattern.
