Yaichi Kusube was a Kyoto ceramic artist of the Showa period (1926-1989), known for his versatile style. This vase has a gently carved surface with wave-like lines on the top and bottom. The vase is very interesting because of the carved abstract expression and the changes in the shape and the markings in the white color.
