The two windows are painted with a landscape on one side and a bird on the other. The work is a small, but very elegant piece of art. The window is surrounded by a shippo patterns.
Ko Kiyomizu ware is a type of Kyō ware traditionally from Gojōzaka district near Kiyomizu Temple, in Kyoto. The history of Kiyomizu ware dates back to the Momoyama period. The earlier production phase is known as Ko-Kiyomizu (old Kiyomizu).
