The design of the large circular window in the center of the prospect and the pattern structure around it reminds one of a large hibiscus flower, which is why it is called fuyoude in Japan. This pattern was also popular in Western Europe. In addition to birds, the prospective design depicts flowers, butterflies, large leaves, and scroll-like scrolls.
