Size of frame: 33 cm (H) x 40 cm (W)

We proudly present "Dove of Peace" by Takeshi Hayashi, a monumental figure representing modern Japanese Western-style painting. Hayashi profoundly influenced the Japanese art world, having served as a professor at Tokyo University of the Arts and receiving the Order of Culture, the nation's highest cultural honor. His works are renowned for capturing the essence of their subjects with unrestrained yet powerful brushwork.

In this piece, a dove, symbolizing peace, takes center stage. Surrounding it are three dynamic figures, depicted with Hayashi's characteristic concise yet emotionally rich brushstrokes, appearing as if dancing with lively rhythm. The light, rhythmic lines and colors, reminiscent of a spontaneous sketch, fill the composition with vibrant vitality and joy, conveying a warm message to the viewer.

Signed "Take・H" in the lower right corner, this work embodies a universal theme within its unique expression. It is a thought-provoking piece, infused with Hayashi Take's deeply humane artistic philosophy and his profound wish for peace.
