Kyohei FUJITA

1921 - 2004

Born in Tokyo. Studied metal engraving at the Tokyo Fine Arts School, but switched to glass crafts midway through his studies. He became a member of the Japan Art Academy in 1989, a Person of Cultural Merit in 1997, an honorary citizen of Ichikawa City in 1999, and a recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit in 2002.
