It has a round pine tree, ivy-shaped (arabesque) bamboo (bamboo grass), and red plum blossoms (pine, bamboo, and plum). The prospective design is a black background with a silver rim, and it is a four-tiered stacked box. There are two lids with different designs on the reverse side. One has a crane flying among clouds. The other has a sunrise and cranes in maki-e lacquer.
