Chikusen Miura, the 4th(4代 三浦 竹泉)
1911 - 1976
Eldest son of Chikuen II. Studied painting and ceramics at Kyoto Art College. In 1931, he succeeded Chikuzen IV and engaged in pottery making. Mainly produced sencha-tea utensils. His style is extremely skillful and elegant. In 1972, he passed the reigns of the family to his eldest son Toru and retired.
