This is a rare and exquisite set of 10 antique Ko-Imari iroe (polychrome enamel) shallow plates from the Edo period, featuring an elegant yet charming design that instantly catches the eye. A complete set of ten in this highly versatile 14 cm size is a truly valuable find.
The interior center (mikomi) showcases a vibrant red enamel background adorned with three white cloud-shaped windows.

Inside the foot ring on the base, a square frame enclosing the "Fuku" (good fortune) character mark is meticulously applied in underglaze blue.
With their refined splendor, these plates are perfect for New Year's celebrations and special occasions, while also being incredibly practical for modern dining as side plates or dessert dishes. This well-preserved set of ten will bring an extra touch of glamour to formal gatherings, tea ceremonies, or kaiseki banquets, making it a masterpiece of high collectible value.
