Crafted from multi-layered cased glass featuring a delicate background gradient that transitions from soft pink to translucent white, the piece utilizes acid-etching techniques to sculpt a tranquil lakeside scene in relief. The contrast between the misty, glowing sky and the richly detailed trees in the foreground creates a painterly sense of depth and atmosphere, especially when illuminated by ambient light.

An etched signature by Gallé is integrated into the design near the water’s edge, making this a quintessential piece that showcases his poetic and nature-inspired artistry.
